Hey Y’all!
Casey here to make your day just a little bit brighter!
After getting some of my fiance’s house clean while he is gone, taking care of our animals, wedding planning, and running a few errands I sit here with Pretty Little Liars on the big screen and my feet resting on the couch. I wish I could say it has been a long day, but it really hasn’t been that long.
I guess this is just what adulthood feels like: just an endless loop of cleaning, scheduling, paying bills, and sleeping.
However, I don’t know if it’s just me but cleaning my house is the HARDEST, yet easiest, and most satisfying task ever. I know that makes the least amount of sense, but hear me out. It’s a struggle getting started. Once you do its extremely easy and relaxing. And, when it’s finished you feel so accomplished in life.
I have been on a cleaning spree that has been taking me forever to finish just because getting myself started for each day is the biggest struggle, EVER. I am just trying to remind myself that slow and steady wins the race, right? I say that as I relax on the couch after doing the bare minimum of my chores.
One thing cleaning does do for me is it let’s me think productive thoughts. Like new blog post ideas! Thank the lord above, because I have had major writers block. So, thank you Dirt Devil for the happy and motivational thoughts, my blog appreciates it.
Do you have a favorite cleaning technique and does it give you the best ideas ever when you use them? Or am I just a nerd?
This has been your daily dose of Vitamin C!
